Anything goes.......
After a leisurely breakfast we took the tube to Leicester Square to meet up with Charlotte. We were going to meet up with her at Wembley Park station but the metropolitan line wasn’t operating at that time.
We got tickets for Aladdin. The Lion King was £279 per person, we’ll do that another time!
The Natural History Museum was amazing, so much to see. It took most of the afternoon just to see some of the exhibits, we’ll have to come back another day to see it all. I felt quite insignificant being in there. I was thinking about the 4.58 billion years the earth has been here, we have only been here for around 1 million years……. fortunately the post dinner pre show cocktails soon sorted that out.
I love the atmosphere in London, the noise, the hustle and bustle, the street performers. There was a really cool band called Murdo Mitchell, 4 enthusiastic young men belting out tunes with a basic kit, they drew quite a crowd.
The show was fabulous, the Genie was my favourite character, all sparkly, funny and charismatic.
We said goodbye to Charlotte at Leicester Square station. We’ve had a full on visit but enjoyed every minute. Hopefully we’ll get to see her again in April.
