The locals have heard we are in town

Early start, good breakfast at the hotel then off to Picton to car he the interlsland ferry. Great crossing, little wind and no waves so spent most of the time outside. That is why my face is now very red and will be sore tomorrow.
We went on a guided walking tour of Wellington this evening and were shown many places we would not have found on our own ( New Zealand's version of the Mary Rose for one). What it has also given us is ideas for tomorrow but at a much slower pace.
