UPDATE ON BARRY

Hi there everyone.  A hectic couple of days, as Barry has been in awful pain with his stomach. He did see the doctor, but yesterday he got so bad that Katrina (my future daughter in law) who is a paramedic, came to our house, and took him to hospital.  After a couple of hours, he was seen by a nurse, who then said he should see a doctor. Katrina stayed with him until Midnight, hoping to see what the doctor had to stay, but apparently they were in for a long wait, so Barry told her to go home, as she had work in the morning. The reason I wasn't with them was because Barry didn't want our cats left alone...bless him.
Anyhow, they did a tummy scan, and sent him to the Medical Assessment Unit at 5am. He has had several scans, blood tests etc. Barry has ripped a blood vessel in his stomach. At first they were going to give him surgery, but they have decided that it will cure itself. He has been there all night. Update today was that he has low sodium levels, so they are keeping him in tonight also, and see how he is tomorrow.
Barry can't praise the staff enough, and I think he is quite liking it there.
