Beecraigs
Half-term shenanigans so we went to Beecraigs Country Park for a dog walk in the morning. It was remarkably quiet, probably due to West Lothian schools still teaching. We weaved a devious route through the woodland and returned to the visitor centre cafe. Just as the hot chocolates (with cream and marshmallows) were served, the fire alarm sounded, everyone was evacuated and we stood in the wind to wait for Linlithgow's finest brigade to pitch up.
When the all-clear was given and we were permitted to return to the cafe, the hot chocolates were no longer.
