what a difference a day makes

Singing lesson first thing this morning, then breakfast and a chat with an ex-colleague afterwards.  So a lovely pleasant start to the day.

It continues, because against all expectations we manage to find a lovely apartment to rent.  Clean, warm and new.

Anniemay doesn't want me to mention it anymore on Blip in case I jinx it.  This from a rationalist trained in the scientific method.  

She may have a point though - we still have to be vetted to see if we are suitable tenants.  We have no salaries and no debts so have rather screwed  up the credit check system.  We are however classed as 'of independent means'.  Sounds rather grand.
