Guys

This photo was taken on the first of our two days trekking with Erle and Sue. We walked uphill out of Adigrat, to a community built lodge on the plateau above town. For the first part we were on a rough dirt road, built to allow rock quarrying from the hills above. This meant seeing less plant and animal life, but more human life. These fellows were carrying firewood, and a basket, perhaps full of tomatoes, either to or from the market. They were quite happy to have their photos taken.
