Da Vinci saw art everywhere he went. He saw patterns, shapes, forms. Even a man spitting on a wall was of interest to him.

I like to think he would have liked this. It’s on one of the concrete pillars of our nearby pedestrian bridge. I have no idea how it got there.

Today I too was looking for patterns - in work, in writing, in life. Found quite a few. One crept up on me by surprise when TSM and I - being arch Valentinesceptics - had a rather lovely unplanned romantic time together over dinner in the kitchen tonight, just the two of us.
