A thriving farm....

in the '70s , but deserted now. At this altitude, it would have been a hard life. Today, was glorious again, warm and sunny. The bees were out and about. I was surprised, but a friend apiarist assured me it is quite normal for them to do recces at this time of year. She also told me that bees cannot see yellow so she does not grow any yellow flowers in her garden. She is also a botanist and knows her stuff!
