Late Coreopsis

Well it IS Friday and so I suppose an occasional flower is in order. A month ago, these coreopsis flowers were literally everywhere - veritable ocean's of yellow. They sit by the roadsides in ones and twos now. They may be a "weed" as defined by the Australian native plant mafia but I reckon they are here to stay, no matter what anyone thinks. Very pretty too.
