Yodel- don't use them

An EB having waited in all day for two parcels and thought it time to show the replacement fire.. Are Yodel the most useless courier company?. Stayed in, got a text to say the parcel had been delivered. No sign of it , checked all the neighbours, still no sign of it. The parcel required a signature. On-line conversation with Yodel said it had been sigend for by Birl?  Who is Birl?  Hours later one of our neighbours turned up with it, he had been dog walking and walked past the house of a neighbour who is having major building work and they have moved out for three months. He found the parcel in the porch. There were no builders there today. Who signed for it I wonder? And why did Yodel chose an empty house to leave the parcel when I was in all the time. Poll amongst the neighbours was that Yodel were the laziest couriers. Our houses (there are 9 of us huddled together) are a bit tricky to find but DPD managed with the second parcel. He was very pleased to find us "at last" and said he was determined not to give up. Use DPD not Yodel
