Arty farty trees

Another days leave today - very pleasant! It was however very cold and foggy. I toyed with the idea of going into London for some skylines and architecture but the fog stopped that idea. I pottered around the house doing DIY and went for a walk in Norton Common.

When we stayed in the cottage near Cardiff the other week, there were a lot of pictures on the walls depicting abstracts of trees and woodland scenes. So I thought I would have a go at this. It's more an exercise in vertical lines than a woodland scene.

I will revisit this type of scene possibly using brush strokes to differentiate the lines and abstracting a bit more.
