Finally some sunshine

Walked down to the ponds this afternoon, completely enjoying the sunshine and blue sky. The air was cold but felt great. I think this is a cormorant? I've not seen one at these ponds before and I had to use the telephoto all the way out so it's not super sharp. 

Prepped son for getting his WA extended driver's license this morning and off he went. I told him to expect to sit there for 2 hours. He was back in less than an hour and said the drive over and back took longer than the process to apply for his new license. Amazing!
