Four pounds well spent!

I love this little gadget that enables me to have a cup of soup when I get into the coalface of a day with the minimum of fuss and the minimum of washing up. You literally open the tin of soup, pop it into this container and microwave it for 4 minutes on high. Voila a cup of soup! All for the princely sum of 4 pounds from Lakeland.

My top tip of the day is that if you are going to use this (or any other plastic container) in the microwave with a tomato sauce based foodstuff - rub it with some olive oil before decanting your meal into it for heating. Works a treat and you no longer have to suffer the tub of shame
