Fingers crossed...

At work today, I turned into this country lane with some trepidation. Right in the distance of the picture is where I got stuck in ice yesterday - not a nice experience! But I took a deep breath and avoided 'the dreaded spot' as best I could, and all was well!
It was -11 this morning (four pairs of socks were just about enough!), and it was very foggy, but you can just see on the top right the blue sky where the fog is clearing. It was sunny all afternoon - that makes the cold bearable :-)
