Creels an Boats

An overcast day, and a slight breeze, but super mild, 12.5 degrees in February, in Shetland is brilliant.   Still warm tonight and still double figures.

Another day working on the museum desk, and it's been a fairly busy day, mostly women coming to see the wedding exhibition.  I spoke with Florence Smith from Cunningsburgh, she told me about the wedding dresses she has, her one, her mother's, 1932, her granny's 1895, her granny's sister 1909, her great granny's 1859 and her great great granny's wedding lace vale from 1824, incredible!  A quiet evening by the fire and feet up, although I have enjoyed a big walk with Sammy.

A fine warm day for a brisk walk at lunchtime, just a shame the sun wasn't shining.  Stopped off by the pier, but I was lacking inspiration.  So just a quick snap of these creels, and the Fair Dawn LK 28 behind.  Taken the Aithsvoe pier, Cunningsburgh.
