Lots of Pots
A day off for us today. This morning we took the children to the park so A could sort out some details of the new kitchen.
Later, we drove round to Hampton Court Palace. There's a lovely children's playground there, but it wasn't open. Who would expect it to be so balmy in February? N enjoyed running round the gardens and hiding in the hedges, and even had an ice cream while we had tea and cake, sitting outside! I haven't tweaked the colour in the picture of the royal chimney pots, the sky really was that blue.
I left them for a last run round the grounds and sloped off to Creative Quilting in East Molesey. I'm becoming quite a regular there - it is full of temptations for the fabricaholic.
TM and I finished our day off with a visit to the Surbiton Caledonian Society's Scottish Country Dance group. What a friendly lot they are! And energetic .... we had to retire, totally out-danced, before the end. Pathetic!!
PS I've put in an extra, the Head Gardener's Office at HC - it's my idea of heaven.
