The Sheepwash Bakewell

Like some other villages in the Peak District Bakewell has a sheepwash.
In recent times it's been a bit overgrown so this year the council set to work on getting it cleared up.
It is council land and like a lot of it has been given by the previous owner for the use of the town and usually comes with a covenant forbidding any change of use.
Work is ongoing but next year should see a dramatic rise in it's use, as it's a truly lovely spot.
