Melenara, Gran Canaria
We enjoyed a farewell lunch at the Rubia seafood restaurant overlooking the beach. (On the far right of this blip.) The wreck fish dish was excellent. The table under an awning shaded us from the 27 degree heat.
This plume of warmth is flowing from here all the way to Scotland. Now that’s what I call an appropriate post holiday gift to bring home!
Our last day was spent on two local beaches, in and out of the sea, beach tennis and sandcastle building, and rebuilding, as the Atlantic rollers showed no mercy.
