Light festival

A few years ago a friend recommended a company offering free walking tours of major cities and we have used them ever since when visiting a new place and have always been delighted with the quality of the guides. Today was no exception Miriam walked us around Copenhagen showing us the key sights and telling us all about the history of the place. In addition she also gave us a real insight into the life of the Danish people and their attitude towards life. By the time she had finished I was ready to look into Danish citizenship!! 
In the afternoon we rested our legs and took to the water for a tour by boat which gave a different view of the city. (See extra) Not having walked enough... in the evening we joined a tour of the light installations around the city which were part of the Light Festival which had drawn us to visit now. This one was the first of many but I thought the best. After a couple of hours of so people drifted off but my husband enthusiastically took up the offer of seeing more and I was definitely ready for my bed by the end!
