Along the Coast
After a good night’s sleep and a healthy sized breakfast in our Newquay hotel, and whilst Annie did some work, I (Chris) was up and out to get some photos. I walked out to a very breezy Pentire Head (see second extra) where I could easily have been blown away but it made for some great waves.
We then drove along the coast where Annie dropped me at St Agnes before she set off for the funeral of her good friend's Granny. During the afternoon I walked the South West Coastal Path from St Agnes to Perranporth. It's only just over 4 miles but on my own, there was plenty of off path exploring and photography. I ended up on the beach at Perranporth as the sun began to cast long shadows (see first extra) where I met Annie.
It was a lovely day and felt really good for me to get out in the sun and breeze (and walk well over 8 miles in total). As darkness fell we were back on the road and the long drive back to Aylesbury.
