COTTESLOE BEACH

I was on the bike early this morning to Cottesloe Beach to see swimmers depart for the Cottesloe to Rottnest Island swim.  All of about 22km if you're up to it.  I missed the solo swimmers who left in near darkness - they take about four and a half hours. The daughter of a golfing girl was swimming in a duo and finished in five and a half hours.  A terrific effort by them.  It was a beautiful morning for the swimmers and spectators, including dogs.  This is Meg and she stole the show on the groyne.
