Marina village life

Paid a return visit to Hythe’s marina village on Southampton Water today - always a treat.
I was privileged to be at the nauguration back in the 1980s as the first marina village of its type to be built in the Uk, and the place still has a special identity. Entrance to the marina by water is controlled by lock gates and it is still fascinating to watch the movement of yachts through the lock.
