Pink orchid

Today's official meeting count on campus was six. At lunchtime I also managed to slip in an extra one with another two colleagues to discuss a couple of things that have been bugging me for a while.

The most productive meeting was the last. For two and a half hours Peter and I sat side by side at my computer reviewing the core journal articles and conference papers that he has published over the past decade. By the end of the afternoon we agreed a plan for him to make an application to register for a PhD by published works.

The pink orchid in our sitting room is looking rather fine at the moment, as blipped.

Exercise today: walking (13,740 steps).
