The wine inside this bottle was the root cause of my insomnia fuelled our fun last night. The bottle is such a lovely piece of glass that I would have liked to keep it, but how and where? A blip is a more sensible alternative keepsake.

The weather in Edinburgh today has been vile, so Mr hazelh has played guitar, programmed, and sorted out Mummy hazelh's email at a distance while I have been working on my secret recreational project.

Kate texted me this afternoon to say that she is out of the high dependency unit following her operation on Monday. I have arranged to visit her the day after tomorrow.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike.
