Ascent of man

I’m collected from the AirBNB at 4:30am. KLM fly me to Amsterdam, rush me through passport control, and get me on the Edinburgh flight. I’m sitting next to a guy coming back from Zambia where he has been training wildlife wardens in forensics. Interesting.

Claire and I head back to Planet Acme. Nick and Ali arrive while I am dozing. We eat, we walk. They leave. Claire sleeps. The rain comes. I rewatch the Fellowship.
