Ladybirds
The sunshine today brought out the ladybirds and I found lots of them basking on the developing Euphorbia flowerheads; there seemed to be a pair on each one. Why they favoured the Euphorbia I don't know, but they make a nice contrast against the green of the plant. You'd think that that would make them more vulnerable to predators, if there are any around at the moment. No doubt they know what they're doing though, and with the continued good weather, I expect lots of other insects will be waking up from hibernation.
