Boys' Brewery Boondogle
Jim sent me this picture of the 'boys' at the new Russian River Brewery. He doesn't like beer so he became the designated driver. Not exactly a gracious invitation but I don't think Jim minded. The gathering of the clan was not without a few glitches...Matt's early morning flight was cancelled but he was able to get one an hour later. Tim drove back from Tahoe yesterday after a few days in the snow with the family. Jim got here first and when nobody was here and we didn't know for sure when anybody was arriving, he went home. However when they arrived, they all arrived within ten minutes of each other and took off immediately. They've just gotten home and are discussing the relative assets of Top Dog (hot dogs in Berkeley) v. whether I would have liked the new Russian River Brewing (yes) or the old one (no) nothwithstanding the fact that I don't like beer.
When Dana arrived, the conversation turned to baseball. Matt, who's in the baseball bat business was at the first spring training game in Arizona last week. It was freezing cold, raining and the game was called after two innings...but it did spark a spirited sibling conversation.
We're now moving into the preparation of Buffalo chicken wings, hanger steak, potato chips, baked potatoes....and beer. A very masculine menu in which I've no intention of interfering....It's wonderful having them here.
