Today it rained
Again. Today we had some steady drizzly, misty rain. ALL DAY! Our yard has sprouted a big patch of what I call wild onions or chives. We will mow them down and let them grow anyway. They are green.
The rain drops are sticking to them pretty well which makes that whole area look like it is sparkling. Since nothing else jumped out at me, the wild onions became my blip for today.
I wish the deer would come out and eat them. I guess they don't like onions. They are feasted on two of my azaleas though! Rascals! We tied plastic bags to the bushes to hopefully scare them off.
Exciting news! We found a used travel trailer with the right price for us and we put down a deposit. It is small but well maintained and just perfect for two people and a dog. It will take a about 10 days before we can pick it up as the dealer will go over it with a fine-tooth comb to check that every thing works properly, no leaks are happening, clean it up inside and out and check out the tires, canopy and other things. They are so backed up with work as it seems many people had the same idea of buying a used camper. We have been talking about a camper for a long while as we love visiting state parks and other places but with the dog motels and hotels are limited plus costly. Camping in a park is only $25 a night! We hope to use it in March as soon as we get it! Photos will be coming!
Maybe the rain will be moved on by the time we pick it up but the 15 day forecast shows only 2 days with possible sunshine. If it is shining I will be out in it!
