Woke from a good sleep in our massive, empty dorm, having had to go down and out only once, running the gauntlet of the invisible, barking dogs.
Breakfast comprised rice flour pancakes, honey, and banana fritters.   Great, honestly.
After a third walk around the village, we loaded up and were driven for a couple of hours to Pu Luong Retreat, our 2nd and final stop on this tour within a trip.
Unfortunately the weather gods were again against us, the mist being right down and visibility only a few feet at times.  Our driver seemed unaware that the car’s heater controls had a ‘’screen’’ setting so we were all steamed up inside and out.   AAAARRRRGGGHH.

After lunch we went on a guided walk round, and through, the valley’s paddy fields.   Not quite sure why, but got lots of photos thereof. See Extras collage.
