Ouchie

We went to the Thar desert today to enjoy a night under the stars, a camel ride and sleeping in a fancy tent.  It was all huge fun, esp the entertainment in the tented village - BUT the camel ride was almost as bad as the elephant ride last year..... Thankfully the camel is not quite as wide so the legs do not have to stretch quite so far - BUT - it was still quite an embarrassing (getting one and off) and painful experience.  When the camel was still (extra) it was fine!  But not sure I really enjoyed the rock 'n roll motion of the ship of the desert! 
The meal in the evening was lovely - really authentic Indian food and the dancer and the band were delightful.
