Listen, The Snow Is Falling

We actually could hear the snow falling. The thawing weather made the snow on the roof heavier, and also loosened it somewhat, with the result of it falling in four "doses", each one of them crashing really loudly during the night, waking us up. The third fall was the mightiest, leaving the fallen icy snow standing on its side beside the house. The height was somewhere around 1.5-2 m (see the extra for how it looked from the inside). Totally more than 1 ton of icy snow, I think.

Technically not spendid photos, but I have never witnessed such a fall, where the snow would stand on the ground erect after the fall!
