Flagging

Ilkley Moor Fell Race today so early this morning we went up to the Moor so Mr P could finish flagging out the route.
He had spent a few hours there yesterday doing the majority of the course before dusk set in.
He has to recheck it the morning of the race because sometimes people visiting the Moor have taken the flags home as souvenirs:-))
I used some of the time to take a few photographs, similar weather to yesterday misty start then sunshine.
Lovely and quiet when we first arrived except for a few dog walkers and we could hear nothing but birdsong.
Home and apart from making breakfast and sewing a few seeds l have done very little, not like me as l like to be on the go but we’ve really enjoyed just lazing in the conservatory doing nothing more exerting than reading the newspaper.
Still have a niggle in my leg so an inactive day won’t do it any harm.
Have added my first birdshot in extras, nothing special but l find it really hard to take them.
All l can say is that the robins on the Moor are not phased by humans at all.
