Aberlady Parish Church
Seen on the first of four birdwatching walks. I would have liked to have blipped a bird, but they were all too far away. Our guide is brilliant, with all sorts of ways of telling birds apart - he should write an alternative bird ID book. I heard my first skylark for the year and also saw my first butterfly - a peacock, like last year, so it must be going to be another good summer (although tempting fate saying that!). It was a gorgeous day with lots of sunshine and very little wind. Just hope the next three walks will be as good!
I've now added an extra photo of an azalea which I took on my way home from Waitrose where T dropped me off. It's probably a better photo than the main photo but I decided I had to have something related to the bird walk rather than just another flower.
