Cacophoney of Christmas Clarinets

Well not really - they were great!

Really lovely Carol concert by the children at Linton Village College tonight.

Over the last 10 years I've lost count of the number of "concerts" I've sat through with gritted teeth, wincing slightly, but clapping in a supportive manner. But I guess we have to go thorough those ones to get our children to a good and confident standard, and they were tonight.

Final (stunning) piece of the night was "Fantasia on Christmas Carols" with Adrian Bell, who is studying music at Cambridge, as the soloist. Just beautiful, and accompanied would you believe by a bat swooping and diving around the church.

Don't think that was planned though!
