Fieldfare

Another cold frosty day. Went back out to Lochwinnoch this time as a visitor and this time by car! Met someone I knew who had seen a kingfisher (lucky person). Haven't managed to see it yet.

Watched a couple bramblings fly down with the flock of chaffinches. Managed to spot them, get the camera to focus and the flock would be spooked and flew off. This happened lots of times. So didn't get a photo of them free of movement.

Ended up blipping a fieldfare again. This one was giving us no end of amusement. He had an apple, just out of the photo, and was guarding it. The blackbirds were chased off along with the smaller birds. Nothing was allowed near. You can see the mean look in his eye. We were thinking of sending him to anger management classes!
