Narnia Revisited....in Surrey!
What an amazing sight to wake up to....icicle trees!!!!!
Temperature at -6 and desperately trying to rise...but failing miserably. The surrounding Surrey hills were like a petrified forest of white and the weak winter sunshine only managed to penetrate the first primal layer.
Farewell Surrey for a wee while....see you again at New Year.
Hello Kent and Wiltshire..........-1 and -4 respectively!!!
I'll think I'll take the hot water bottle and extra thermal socks with me!!
Leaving for the M25.... GK and I travelled through a veritable winter wonderland and as I later headed west...could well understand why Heathrow had been temporarily closed for flights earlier in the day!!
It was as if I'd entered upon the film set of Narnia and all that was needed to complete the picture was the appearance of the White witch and Mr Tumnus!!!
Now safely indoors, all cosy and warm, the elusive and magical Jack Frost continues to paint the surrounding countryside and bring a whole new meaning to hibernation!
This picture has not been altered, its in colour!!!
Happy Blipping Everyone.....keep warm!!
