Synchronised Sitting!

Snuffles and Warp insisted on accompanying GK and I to Bath today despite the bitter cold start to the morning and the thoughts of plummeting temperatures later in the day, which they.....as residents of Dubai......are not very used to yet!

We journeyed along byways rather than highways in order to enjoy the frozen'ness of the landscape and because we had planned to stop en route to visit long time friends who have just relocated to the area around Bath.

It was also a necessary trip as I needed to re-register with my Dr and as she was away on holiday from tomorrow.....today was the only opportunity before the major shut down of these Isles over Christmas!!

Couldn't resist Snuffles and Warps reaction to the 'Dr's Waiting Room'!! They didn't appreciate that surprise on the itinerary!! Made up for it though by indulging the 'Colonel' at the motorway services on the way home! I promised not to blip their decadence as they dived into the KFC bag, scraffling for the ketchup!

I did feet sorry for them both when the tempertaure recorded -5 as we left the Wiltshire borders and headed for the warmth of Surrey......a mere -1 on arrival here at 8.30pm.

According to the weather folk.. think the scenario will be turned round tomorrow as GK and I part ways; she heads for Bromley forecast -3 and I head for Wilts forecast +3!
