First Taste of Snow

Tahoe had never seen snow before. He was hesitant to go out at first, but then he bounded through the snow to do his business and back again. Later, after we cleared a couple of paths through the snow, Bali decided she would venture outside as well. She is such a princess!

We woke up to snow this morning! We seldom get snow here in Eugene. In fact when the snow finally stopped falling we measured 11 inches of snow. This is only the 6th time in 129 years that this much snow has fallen in one day in Eugene.
The extra photos include an Anna's hummingbird shivering as he takes a drink, my Honey shoveling snow at 6am for the dogs to go out and do their business, and a snow chicken!
