Monday: Audain Art Gallery

Our original plan was to go up the gondola today but it was closed due to high winds. So instead we headed up to Whistler.

We started off at the Audain Art Gallery - K. and I have been before and, to my mind, it's one of the most beautiful art spaces I've seen.

We then took a stroll round Whistler village and had a look at the skiers coming down - it was quite something. I'm glad we went up today - I've only been to Whistler in the summer when I've found it pretty tacky and contrived. It's definitely better in the winter, with all the snow, and with the atmosphere it's supposed to have.
