Sunday: Squamish

Today has been such a fun day.

After breakfast, we bundled into the car and headed up the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish. It was a glorious day so the views were stunning.

We stopped off at Shannon Falls and then headed up to Brackendale where we had lunch at the Watershed Grill, which has the most amazing views. B also declared the burger she had as being the best she had ever eaten so success all round.

We then went for a few walks in different places, heading up the spit, the wetlands and the river.

We stopped off at the Howe Sound Brewery to enjoy the sunset views before checking in to our hotel. It's fairly basic but our rooms both have very ambitious four posted beds........

A few drinks and a bite to eat at the Copper Coil,. while playing cards. We were half watching the Oscars and there was spontaneous applause for Olivia Coleman when she won best actress Oscar. I suspect our enthusiasm got everyone else carried away.

The evening ended with us piling into B and R's bedroom to watch Olivia Coleman's acceptance speech while wearing fake moustaches (us, not Olivia).
