Alum Bay and cliffs

This is just along from the Needles on the Isle of Wight. The cliffs and bay became famous for the coloured sand which used to be gathered and sold in phials with the distinct different layers of colour showing. I have to say the cliffs were quite impressive but l couldn't see much of the different colours myself.
