(SP)RING-NECKED PARAKEET
I had a delightful half-hour in the park this morning, though I'm very worried for the wildlife that may be starting everything too early. The sun was lovely, and the parakeets were house-hunting (extra). I saw a treecreeper for the first time in a couple of years (extra) as well as lots of other feathery stuff. The tufted ducks are always much easier to photograph here in the park than they are in the bird reserve.
Then I did a couple of hours of garden-tidying and disturbed a dormant frog, which eventually moved back to where it had been hiding. It obviously had more sense than to think proper Spring has arrived.
