Jay Got A Letter Today
It was from his previous tormentor owner …… Butterfly.
He was especially taken with the portrait she had drawn from memory.
The letter and the picture were all her own work - not bad for a 4 year old.
SWMBO and I got the train into Edinburgh at lunchtime and went into the City Arts Centre to see the exhibition of street photography by Robert Blomfield, taken in Edinburgh in the 60's and 70's. It is well worth a visit if you are passing.
Due to the subject of the exhibition I felt compelled to take a shot or two myself (not nearly as good or humorous as his of course).
After that it was into Brewhemia for afternoon tea and fizz (part of our Christmas present from Bags).
It was excellent and very substantial.
I asked if it was okay to take a couple of pictures in the place and was told they would be delighted but couldn't vouch for the patrons (I wasn't intending taking pictures of them).
There are some quiet nooks and crannies (during the day...….) and the brasswork makes for some interesting snaps.
Some of their beers come in large tanks and they advertise who brewed it, how many miles it came and when the tank was 'opened'. I am sure the Hipsters will be delighted.
