Saying hello and goodbye

Today I met 2 new members of the team, attended the Audit and Risk Management Committee (where we welcomed our 2 new Board members Barbara and Jo who were observing proceedings) and began our farewells to Sara.

Sara has been with the organisation for nearly 7 years: she was part of the set-up team before CHS went live in 2013.

She is moving to a post at the Scottish Football Association.

We are sorry to see her go but recognise that the 20 minute walk to the new office which will replace her 150 minute of bus journey - each way - to our office in Edinburgh means she and the family will see a lot more of each other.

Tomorrow is Sara’s last day when we say our formal goodbye. Tonight we went out for a bite of food and refreshment when we were joined by some other former colleagues. A good evening.
