A walk in the sunshine

The weather has been glorious today and I've had a lovely day. A good game of tennis in the sunshine, a Skype chat with our son at lunchtime, followed by a walk with a friend who phoned at the last minute. We even stopped half way for an ice cream and I managed a quick blip of a Starling looking for crumbs (see extra).
I saw this blossom close to home and couldn't resist. A few years ago we went to visit our son in Japan to see the Cherry blossom at Easter time and this reminded me of that trip which was wonderful.
