Replanted Daffs in the brief sunshine

This afternoon I was helping out at a lunch in the Church Hall serving soup and desserts (all very gorgeous). The gardener was busy planting back daffs which we had planted in the Autumn and which had to be lifted for the garden work. It's amazing they look so good having spent the last 2 weeks in a crate! Still the thing I liked about this picture most was the shadow which the late afternoon sunshine was making against the new pergola - yes the sun shone - it did also hail briefly earlier in the day!
