A bit Athens-ish

Waiting on the lift as I was leaving work - noticed this view for the first time. A lovely framing of the unfinished National Monument on Calton Hill. Apparently there were big plans for this - literally trying to emulate the Parthenon - that never came to fruition. It's unfinished nature led to the nickname "Scotland's Disgrace". In 2019 it's accepted, beautiful and an iconic part of the Edinburgh skyline. Hopefully we're less easily embarrassed as a nation these days.
