Boo !

4.1C Brighter today. Clouds coming over from the South West in the afternoon. Temperature dropping rapidly.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went out after lunch. We walked up to the church and then into the field. We noticed the trailer had been moved further down the field and was fully loaded with frosty bales. We wandered down the field and stopped to have a look and get a some pictures. I had crouched down to get a close up of the wheel again when Maeve decided I was taking too long and appeared in front of the camera !

We wandered on down to the cycle path and along to the gate in the field and went through and over the level crossing to the beach. The tide was very high and there was only a metre or two of beach. We met two lady dog walkers with a tiny dog. The tiny dog had a coat on and was running about having fun.

The tiny dog thought it was jolly good fun to run right up to Maeve and adopt the pounce/play posture. Quick as a flash Maeve decided to play too, rushed forward to the end of her lead and pounced almost right on top of the tiny dog. Nose to nose and one long leg on either side of the tiny body. Everyone laughed except the tiny dog ! It shot backwards, had a good shake to recover its dignity and went back to running about along the sand. I'm sure I heard Maeve chuckle as we walked on towards the Fishermen's huts !

We stopped at one or two spots and snaps were snapped of the early sunset again. It has become quite fascinating. All change tomorrow though. Rain and strong winds expected. I'd rather it stayed cold and clear. So would Maeve :-)

Later I decide that a crop of this picture I had taken in the field might let you have some idea of the tiny dog's view of Maeve arriving right in front of its nose :-)
