And so they do.   In Tweed's case, from the spring at Tweedswell.

From Tweedswell, high on Tweedsmuir, to the North Sea at Berwick is 97 miles.   For 17 of those miles, Tweed forms the border between Scotland and England.    This stretch passes through the Kingsmeadow.
