Spring has sprung...

Well meteorologically speaking it has (astronomically speaking it's 20th March.) 

Thank you for your insomnia advice on yesterday's blip.  I shall certainly investigate your suggestions.  Last night wasn't too bad  Asleep by 2am and slept right through till the alarm went off at 7.30am.  Woke up feeling much better.

At lunchtime we had a visit from B, our local painter and decorator.  He's quite a character so we had a very amusing chat for the first 15 minutes before D went over the list of jobs with him.  Most of it is exterior work, including the Gin Palace, which is overdue a wee freshen up.

When B left, we headed to our our favourite Italian deli for lunch.  It was after 2pm when we got there and the specials menu was so enticing we decided to have our main meal of the day.  This means just some tea and toast for supper (and a early evening G&T of course:-) so no cooking tonight.   Woo hoo :-))
